this is an oldie but a goodie, introducing FARMING!

The act of growing ones own food keeps them in touch with the earth, taking good care of it will yield bountiful crops, providing both nourishment and prosperity

With a plot of land, a farmer will be able to harvest their yield, process it and either eat it, sell it to the nearby chefs and build a produce empire or become a chef themselves.

in addition to carpentry (lumberjack, milling), masonry (mining, quarrying) and elemancy, cooking will provide an essential daily service to the defenders of Samhan. What they eat and drink will affect their performance in both combat with monsters and with their peers. The more skillful the chef, the better quality of ingredients they demand and the resulting dishes are transformative.

uhh... TLDRwhat?

post highlights:

#1) We’ve had farming in-game for a year now, but it needs an economy to be valuable

#2) the mechanics are in, and will be relevant in the next release of content as a means to introduce the other more intensive crafts like carpentry, masonry and elemancy

#3) you can find those gardens north of the public gardens in Seasong, and you can purchase the harvesting gear from Imogen the innkeeper
